Lynn Weekes Karegeannes  is an artist and crafter.  A native of South Carolina, she has lived in various states of the U.S. and in France.  Lynn completed studies in Art History with a Bachelor’s degree from Rice University in Houston, Texas and a Master’s degree from The University of Texas at Austin.  She and her husband arrived in Asheville in 1999.  Two children quickly followed.  In between raising the children and assisting with several art-related programs as a volunteer, Lynn began to explore art and craft for herself in numerous different media.  Lynn has worked with beads, wire, polymer clay, shrink plastic, paper, paint, found objects, and lots of glue!   In June 2010, Lynn completed an introductory study of mandalas with Susanne Fincher of Decatur, Georgia.  She studied with artist Heidi Darr-Hope of Columbia, South Carolina.  She has also completed an introductory study of SoulCollage® with Susan Sihler of Asheville, North Carolina.  Her favorite art forms are collage and assemblage.
